DAY 1: KAMPALA / ENTEBBE – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Your Malidadi Africa Safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport and begin the journey southwest.Make a stop at the Equator for photographs and a short experience before continuing to Lake Mburo National Park.Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive through the park. Look out for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, topi, eland, warthogs and waterbuck.Overnight: Lake Mburo National Park

DAY 2: LAKE MBURO – GAME DRIVE – BWINDI
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park.After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through the beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda, with opportunities to see local communities and spectacular landscapes.Arrive in the Bwindi area in the evening and check into your lodge.Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

DAY 3: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking experience.Enter the ancient Bwindi forest with experienced guides and trackers in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.Once you find the gorillas, you will have a memorable opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat.After trekking, return to your lodge and relax.Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National ParkMeals: Breakfast, Lunch & DinnerOptional: Batwa cultural experience, depending on time and location.
DAY 4: BWINDI – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park.The journey takes you through the rolling hills and beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda.Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and have lunch at your lodge.In the afternoon, enjoy an evening game drive in the park, searching for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, antelopes, warthogs and, with luck, lions and leopards.Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park

DAY 5: QUEEN ELIZABETH – GAME DRIVE & KAZINGA CHANNEL BOAT CRUISE
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains.This is one of the best times to search for wildlife while animals are active. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthogs and other antelopes.Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.In the afternoon, take the famous Kazinga Channel boat cruise.The cruise provides excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous bird species along the channel.Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park

DAY 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH – KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park.Enjoy the scenic journey through western Uganda, passing crater lakes, tea plantations and rural communities.Arrive in Kibale and check into your lodge.Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or take an optional nature walk.Overnight: Kibale National Park

DAY 7: KIBALE – CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & BIGODI
After an early breakfast, proceed to the Kibale Forest visitor centre for briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking experience.Walk through the rainforest with your guides and trackers in search of chimpanzees.Kibale is also home to several other primates, including red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and olive baboons.In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature and primate walk, depending on time and energy.Overnight: Kibale National ParkMeals:

DAY 8: KIBALE – KAMPALA / ENTEBBE
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.Enjoy the beautiful scenery of western Uganda along the way.Depending on your flight schedule, you can stop for lunch and make additional photo stops before continuing to Entebbe International Airport or your Kampala hotel.This marks the end of your 8-Day Uganda Wildlife, Gorilla & Primate Safari with Malidadi Africa Safaris.
